We collect what's needed to run the app and not a byte more. We don't sell your data. We don't train AI on it. You can export or delete everything at any time.
Account info (email, name, password hash), the resume content you create, and basic usage telemetry (which features you use, error logs). That's it. We don't ask for your phone, address, or birthday.
To deliver the product (save your resumes, render PDFs, run AI features on demand). To send transactional email about your account. To improve the product (aggregated, anonymized analytics).
Only the bare-minimum service providers we need to operate: Stripe (payments), AWS (hosting), Anthropic (AI features — your resume content is sent only when you use AI tools, never stored by them). We don't share data for advertising, ever.
Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Two-factor authentication available on every account. Regular security audits. We have never had a data breach.
You can export all your data, delete your account, opt out of marketing email, or request specific data corrections — all from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@resumemakerai.com. EU users have full GDPR rights; California users have full CCPA rights.
We use essential cookies for login sessions. We use a single first-party analytics cookie (no third-party trackers). No advertising cookies. No cookies that follow you around the web.
